Ingredients
  

Seasoned Crackers

  • 2 sleeves saltine crackers about 60 crackers
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 cup canola oil or vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together ranch dressing mix, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and oil until fully blended.
  • Place saltine crackers in a large Ziplock bag or mixing bowl. Pour the seasoning blend over the crackers.
  • Seal and shake or toss gently until all crackers are well coated.
  • Spread the coated crackers in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
  • Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a no-bake version, let the crackers sit in the sealed bag for 12 to 24 hours, flipping the bag occasionally to ensure even coating. However, baking offers a more satisfying crunch.
